SMEs with this sort of technology reluctance need to overcome this nuisance fear only through by gaining proper training and consultation. Being comparative regarding the pros and cons in the literature sources and in the real world digital marketing for SMEs could really become a boon rather than a curse because they could save lot of money, develop their own brand, attract more customers, engage them throughout and delight them eventually. Comprehending the necessity of developing this all-important platform for Digital Marketing among SMEs in Sri Lanka the IT Unit of Industrial Development Board (IDB) of Ceylon has further organizing workshop with broader and extended purview to eradicate the fear and reluctance to technology among SMEs.

Mobile Technology
In the era of sustainability, Mobile technology has a huge role to play with all the upcoming trends. Therefore as the IT Unit of IDB, we have realized the importance of this technology and its related evolutions to the country and created a platform where people could come and raise their theoretical knowledge and practical skills on this technology. There is plethora of mobile repairing workshops around the country but all of them have a very limited scope of doing hardware and software upgrading but we want them to have a broader vision and acquire the due sense of innovation so that it could finally contribute to the GDP immensely. We have demonstrated a conversation on latest mobile trends such as Internet of Things (IoT), augmented reality, Mixed Reality etc. so that the participants could at least have a slight idea about the sack of opportunities ahead of them. Then we wanted to give them a fully comprehensive mobile chip level repairing and advanced software training so that being in the industry they could earn more and be stable. This training also included a 14 days industry level training in one of the most top notched mobile companies. Therefore, the participants could be exposed to the actual techno-savvy environment and gain knowledge on problem identification and client handling.
