National program for the renaissance of the nation and the life of the industry

According to the vision of the current government’s prosperity vision policy statement and the idea of ​​the Honorable Minister of Industry Mr. Wimal Weerawansa, the Revival to the Earth and Life to the Industry program is being implemented under the guidance and mentorship of the Honorable Chairman of the Ceylon Industrial Development Board and under the supervision of the Director of the Regional Development Division.

The primary objective of this program is to empower small-scale enterprises by improving the quality of their products, increasing economic strength and creating new employment opportunities.

Under this programme, the distribution of equipment to small scale entrepreneurs in the garment sector in Colombo district was held on October 11, 2021 at the Footwear and Leather Development Center under the chairmanship of the Honorable Minister of Industry Mr. Wimal Weerawansa with the participation of the Honorable Chairman and Director of the Ceylon Industrial Development Board.

About 120 machines needed for the garment industry were given to 19 entrepreneurs.
