Industry 2023 Kandy Edition organized by the Ministry of Industry, the Ceylon Industrial Development Board, Central Provincial Governor’s Office, Central Provincial Ministry of Industry and the cooperation of government and private institutions to empower an export-oriented manufacturing economy in the country, Central Provincial Industry Exhibition Dr. Ramesh Pathirana. It was proudly inaugurated today (10.06.2023) at the old Bogambara Jail premises in Kandy with the participation of dignitaries such as the Central Province Governor, Mr. Lalith U Gamage, State Minister for Small and Medium Enterprise Development Mr. Prasanna Ranaweera.

The Industry 2023 Kandy Edition industry exhibition includes over 300 booths in 20 industrial sectors of Sri Lanka with innovations, new technologies and many new industries, as well as many industries unique to the Central Province. Opportunities have also been created.

The exhibition which started today will be held on October 7 and 8 from 9 am to 9 pm.

Secretary of the Ministry of Industry Thilaka Jayasundara, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Industry Chaminda Pathiraja, Chairman of Ceylon Industrial Development Board Dr. Saranga Alahapperuma, Chief Secretary of Central Province G.H.M.A. Premasinghe, Central Province Governor’s Secretary M.W.M.M. Madahapola, Central Province Industries Ministry Secretary K.G. Upali Ranawaka a large number of dignitaries including, industrialists, entrepreneurs were present.
