The “National Industry Brand Excellence-2024” Award Ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Industry & Entrepreneurship Development in collaboration with the Industrial Development Board (IDB), took place on February 21, 2025, at Eagles’ Lakeside Banquet & Convention Hall, Attidiya, from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, Minister of Industry & Entrepreneurship Development Hon. Mr. Sunil Handunneththi, and Deputy Minister Hon. Mr. Chathuranga Abeysinghe. Also in attendance were Ms. Thilaka Jayasundara, Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Ravi Nissanka, Chairman of IDB, Mr. Suranga Gunarathne, Director General, and Mr. Gayan Perera, President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), along with the esteemed National Jury Panel of NIBE 2024 and other dignitaries.

This prestigious awards ceremony celebrates excellence, innovation, and leadership across various industries, recognizing outstanding brands that contribute significantly to the nation’s economic and industrial growth. Beyond honoring achievements, the event aims to inspire further innovation and expansion in the Sri Lankan business landscape.

A total of 111 awards were presented across large-scale, medium-scale, and small-scale industries, covering 25 industry sectors. The awards included:
