கைத்தொழில் அபிவிருத்தி சபை (கை.அ.ச) கைத்தொழில் மற்றும் தொழில் முயற்சியாண்மை அபிவிருத்தி அமைச்சு கீழ் இயங்கும் ஒரு நியதிச்சட்ட நிறுவனமாகும். 1969 ஆம் ஆண்டின் 36 ஆம் இலக்க கைத்தொழில் அபிவிருத்தி சட்டத்தின் மூலம் இதற்கு சட்டரீதியிலான தத்துவம் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இச்சட்டத்திற்கு அமைவாக இலங்கையின் கைத்தொழில் துறையை அபிவிருத்தி செய்வதற்கான பொறுப்பு சாட்டப்பட்டுள்ள முதன்மையான அரச நிறுவனம் கைத்தொழில் அபிவிருத்தி சபையாகும்.

Mr. Yasas Hewage brings over two decades of experience spanning banking, business strategy, entrepreneurship development, organizational transformation, and sports tourism.

Prior to his appointment as Chairman of the Industrial Development Board (IDB), he served as Private Secretary to the Deputy Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development and contributed to several national initiatives, including the SME Nexus Initiative, the National SME Strategy Framework, and the Institutional Transformation Team supporting the proposed Entrepreneurship and Industry Transformation Authority (EITA).

During his career with HSBC and NDB Bank, he held leadership roles in retail banking, SME development, strategy, and branch banking, contributing to business growth, organizational transformation, and customer-centric innovation.

A graduate in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Yasas is a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He played a key role in establishing one of the world’s leading study centres for the CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and has coached and mentored over 10,000 entrepreneurs, executives, and business professionals.

Founder of Spinner, a sports tourism and endurance cycling enterprise, and serves as a Director of Serendib Multisport, the local franchise holder and organizer of one of the world’s leading triathlon brands in Sri Lanka. A certified cycling biomechanics specialist trained by Retül, he combines his passion for endurance sport, performance, and destination marketing development with a strong interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, and industrial transformation.

• அமைச்சரினால் நியமிக்கப்படுகின்ற தலைவர் மற்றும் ஒன்பது பேரைக் கொண்ட பணிப்பாளர் சபையினால் கைத்தொழில் அபிவிருத்தி சபைக்கு தலைமைத்துவம் வழங்கப்படுகின்றது.
• தலைவருக்கு பணிப்பாளர் நாயகம் உதவி வழங்குவதுடன் அவரின் கீழ் இயங்கும் ஒன்பது பேரைக் கொண்ட பணிப்பாளர்களின் தலைமையின் கீழ் தொழிற்பாட்டுப் பிரிவுகள் இயங்குகின்றன. தொழிற்பாட்டுப் பிரிவுகள் கைத்தொழிலுக்கு வழங்கப்படுகின்ற சேவைகளுக்கு பொறுப்புக்கூறுபவைகளாக இயங்குகின்றன.
