If the prevailing electricity charges for a particular industry are domestic or general charges, one has to pay a higher price per unit of electricity. When a request is made to convert the charging for such industries to the industrial segment, our officers will check the industry and if it is an industry under the approved classifications of the Electricity Board, a recommendation letter will be issued that it is a registered industry and that the electricity charging for the industrial segment is appropriate and by submitting it to the Electricity Board Fees are subject to change.
